"Zapotec Death Poems is a Mexican project created by the union of music soundscapes by Concret and Sabino Guisu's arts & crafts. Originally born in Oaxaca, Mexico; the project seeks to expose elements of the ancient Zapotec culture and reinterpret them in a contemporary fashion. Concret and Sabino are freely inspired by the traditions of the Istmo de Tehuantepec and the Dia de los Muertos celebration to create new artistic achievements that project the culture of Oaxaca into a futuristic cyber dimension.
